Yoga Nidra at Kushala Yoga
Below, you will find a Yoga Nidra recording from my Sunday night class, at Kushala Yoga. This was recorded during class, so you'll hear some sounds from inside and outside the building.
Yoga Nidra is a yogic technique, often referred to as "Yogic Sleep," which encourages deep relaxation by bringing one to the state between awake and asleep. Yoga Nidra has many benefits which may include relieving stress, improved memory and brain function, releasing undesired patterns or habits, healing past trauma or illness and improved sleep patterns. These are just a few of the many benefits that can come from a regular, full Yoga Nidra practice. This practice helps me sleep so much better than I used to (when I make sure to fit it in).
Make sure you have a comfortable position, sitting or laying down, before you press play. Also, check this previous post to help create your Sankalpa

You can find more recordings in my shop as well or by signing up for my newsletter. I teach a Yoga Nidra class, at Kushala Yoga, every Sunday night at 8pm, so you can make it a regular part of your practice in a few ways.
