Yoga Nidra for Sleep and Relaxation

Do you have a hard time getting to and/or staying asleep? Do you wake up feeling like you barely slept? Does your mind become busier when you lay down in bed? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of those, Yoga Nidra may be your solution.

This workshop is a journey through your senses to a deep state of relaxation. Yoga Nidra, typically translated as “Yogic Sleep,” is an invitation in to a sleep-like state where you can release tension and stress.It’s said that an hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent in benefit to a 3-4 hour nap.

We will be focusing on a Resolve (Sankalpa) of deep, restful sleep.

Side effects may include:

  • Deep relaxation
  • Stress relief
  • Calm nervous system
  • Improved sleep patterns
