I teach Yoga because I believe strongly in the benefits of self-care and enjoy supporting others in the time they set aside for it. I love that I can be a part of others' self-care and self-love through Yoga practice.
I believe in laughter and Yoga for health and well-being. I believe in kindness and connecting with others. I find inspiration in nature and the human spirit and love to share inspiration and time with others through Yoga.
I've been teaching Yoga for over 10 years and love that I get the chance to interact with so many people in a self-care setting.
My first 200 hour Hatha training, in 2009, opened the door to 100 hours in Power Vinyasa, 300 hours in Tibetan Heart Yoga, 650 hours of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, 90 hours in Blissology with Eoin Finn and many other trainings including Prenatal, Seniors and Yoga Nidra. Most recently, I completed a training focused on Yoga and Psyche and a 21-day Nervous System course.
I love giving detailed instruction in class, so you can practice with your eyes closed if you want, and leaving some space for you to explore your own movement. My classes will have you connecting with your body on a physical level and more subtle level. You may end up giggling at some point as I will too. You will definitely get in a good dose of self-care and relaxation no matter what style of class it is, and you will be encouraged to be kind to yourself throughout with many options offered to serve you.
